Today marks my one year anniversary living in New York City. And, though it’s been a crazy roller-coaster ride—one that I’ve resented at times for various reasons—I fall in love with this city more and more each day. In just one year I’ve accomplished more than I ever thought I was capable of. I pursued my then dream to become a journalist, decided it didn’t make me happy and landed an amazing job in fashion—one that I actually look forward to going to everyday. I also became independent and moved into my own little place to call home, which is slowly but surely coming together. Most importantly, this year was one for growing, soul-searching, and really getting to know myself and what truly makes me happy. Here’s to another year of growth and pursuing our dreams!
